When can I pick up my order?

If your order is below the minimum requirement of $100 subtotal (before coupons) you must pickup your order. We do regular pickups on Thursdays at Zimt Chocolates Cafe on 1336 Clark Dr. in Vancouver, from 11am-2:30pm. All orders eligible for pickup at the cafe must be made no later than 5pm on Wednesdays (PST).

For the North Burnaby (Kensington Square) locations for pickups, please email so we can coordinate based on our mutual availability.

What are the restrictions with delivery? Is my region eligible?

We really like to drive! If your region is not listed here, please feel free to reach out so we can see what works best. At this time, we do not deliver to downtown Vancouver or Gastown.

For delivery to buildings like apartment complexes, you must be home to receive your order; and you must be able to meet outside the lobby doors. We do not have the capability to spend money on parking fees in order to deliver your order.

I have a promotional coupon or gift card. What do I need to know about it? What are the terms & conditions?

From time to time we donate promotional coupons or gift cards, usually for fundraisers and nonprofit events. If you’ve received one of these, please note that your orders are only eligible for pickup, regardless of delivery minimums, as we make no profit (nor are our costs covered) on your order. If you place an excess order of over $100 subtotal that you pay out of pocket for, your order is eligible for delivery.

Please also note that we do have to prioritize the orders of those in full payment of their orders, which means your order may have a later pickup or delivery date.

Coupons and promotional credits/gift cards are only eligible online, and are not valid at our markets/events.

Do you donate or participate in fundraisers or nonprofit events?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to send an inquiry to Hello@GourmetGroceries.ca.

We are always eager for opportunities to donate silent auction and raffle items in support of:

Currently, we’ve donated collectively over $1,000 in auction/raffle items to:

We have also donated over $500 worth in gift cards to support entrepreneurs in Vancouver, BC; in collaboration with the Kid Carson Show (95.3).

How come your prices are less expensive at markets?

On our website we sell items at full manufacturer’s suggested retail price, which is still competitive to big chain corporations.

However,
we absolutely love doing deals and sales on market days! It’s our way of thanking you for coming out to support us. Our deals are not on all of our products, just what we decide to sell for that event. If you like saving 30%-80% off of retail prices (way less than big chains!) we highly encourage you to attend one of our markets.


I would like to sell my products at your store. How can I inquire about wholesaling with you?

If your products are made in Canada and follow our strict guidelines:

Food/Consumables

  • All Natural (no artificial flavors or dyes)

  • No Corn Syrup

  • Free From MSG & Preservatives (aside from salt or naturally occurring preservatives)

  • No GMOs

  • Slave-Free Ingredients (Fair Trade & Direct Trade)

  • NO PLASTIC OR STYROFOAM PACKAGING (unless made from at least 75% recycled plastic)

Household

  • Nontoxic

  • Free From Parraffins & Phthalates

  • No BPAs

  • Slave-Free Ingredients (Fair Trade & Direct Trade)

  • NO PLASTIC OR STYROFOAM PACKAGING (unless made from at least 75% recycled plastic)

Pet Products

  • All Natural (no artificial flavors or dyes)

  • Free From Preservatives (BHA, BHT, Ethoxyquin, Ethoxyquin, Nitrates, Nitrites, Carrageenan, MSG, and Sodium Hexametaphosphate)

  • Slave-Free Ingredients (Fair Trade & Direct Trade)

  • Organic and/or Free Range (must be able to prove ethical treatment of animals)

  • No PFAS

  • NO STYROFOAM PACKAGING

What are your policies? (Privacy, shipping/delivery, and refunds)

PRIVACY: We value your privacy. No, seriously - just because you made a purchase, commented on a post, or sent us an inquiry, does not give us (or anyone) the right to spam you with emails. All information you share is kept strictly confidential. Your information is never shared, sold, discussed, etc.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY: We reserve the right to reschedule a delivery to a pickup should you be unable to receive your delivery or there’s issues at delivery. For example, if we cannot meet with you and you live in a complex/you do not show up to receive your delivery; and/or if delivery requires us to pay for parking, we will need to rescedule regardless of if your order is over the $50 subtotal threshold. We ship across Canada and the USA but not outside those two countries. If you place an order for shipping outside those countries, your order must be sent to an address within Canada or the USA.

REFUNDS: Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. No order is eligible for a refund. If there are issues with a product, you must contact the manufacturer directly. (But please let us know about it so we can be aware.) We are happy to help faciliate communication between you and a manufacturer if necessary. Orders cannot be cancelled once they’ve been placed, as we’ve promised that portion of our inventory to you, instead of to someone else.
